Garden pulling

Today we helped pull out some flowers and weeds. We had alot of work. But it was FUN. We had three different plants, we pulled out, snap weed,

blackberry bush,

and dandeion.

Today we went to the nurseing home. I felt good that the people injoyed having use there. It felt good playing with the old people she had fun because we played with the tangrams. By reptile

Our trip to the Tacoma Lutheran Home! 7/20/09

Today we went to the Tacoma Lutheran Home to play Math games and puzzles with the residents.
We also talked about the proudest moments in their lives and ours. We were asking them questions.
we also read a book called " Sweet Clara Freedom Quilt" we were talking about the book afterwards, it was a good book!
At the end we gave the reseidents thank you cards!
Before we left one of the residents told us "we were the highlight of his day!"

Our Visit to the nursing home was a delight. We met new friends and learned the elderly are no different then us, they had a similar life as young people and once went through the same steps of growing up as us. It was very fun to reteach math to them. They were very kind and taught us to stay in School no matter what to reach our goals. We think the whole class enjoyed the trip and the elderly enjoyed seeing us.
